The Biggest Loser Club site awards badges for your weight loss progress, message board participation and length of time on the Biggest Loser Club website. Badges are a great way for you to be rewarded for your progress and participation.

Time Spent on the Site:

We hope that your time on the Biggest Loser Club site is helping you achieve the goals that you've set for yourself. Whether you are just starting your journey, or have seen success and are now in a maintenance mode, we want to be sure you’re awarded for sticking to it.

A Badge is first awarded when you have been a member for 1 month. The badge is accompanied by text indicating how many months you've been a member.

After 12 months, you are automatically given the Advanced version of the badge.

Weight Loss:

As you are on your weight loss journey and are making progress, it's something to be very proud of. Badges are a good way to acknowledge your success and a way for you to share your success with others. A badge is first awarded when you have achieved five pounds of weight loss. For each additional five pounds of weight loss, the text for your badge will be updated.

When you have achieved 10 percent of body weight loss, you are automatically assigned the advanced badge.

Message Board Participation:

Message boards are a great way for you to find support, both from our online experts and from other Biggest Loser Club members. You may be an inspiration to others, or you may be seeking a friend to help keep you motivated. The message boards are a wonderful community resource and we want to be sure we are acknowledging you for joining in.

A badge is awarded to you after you have have made five message board posts. The text for your badge is updated for each additional five posts you create.

At fifty message board posts, the advanced badge is automatically assigned to you.

Privacy:

As always, we want to respect your privacy. You have the option to not display your badges if you so desire. To change your privacy settings for badges, simply go to the My Profile page (a link is provided at the top right of each page on the site), and then click the 'Edit My Profile'button.

You will see a radio button entitled 'SHOW YOUR SITE BADGES' and the ability to select Yes or No. Make your selection and then click the 'Save Changes' button to apply your change to the site.

Where can I find my Badges displayed?

Your badges are displayed on the following pages of the site.

The Member Home Page, at the top of the left column, and under your user name.
Your My Profile.
On the Message Boards, included with your message board posts.
On the My Buddies page, seen by those that have you as their buddy.
