Jillian Michaels

As an overweight teenager, personal trainer Jillian Michaels got involved in exercise when her mother enrolled her martial-arts classes. She developed a passion for fitness that manifested itself into 17 years of martial-arts practice and 13 years of personal training. In addition to her strong background in martial arts, Jillian implements a blend of strength training techniques into her clients workout routines, including kickboxing, yoga, Pilates, plyometrics, and weight training

Jillian is one of the trainers appearing in the NBC hit series the Biggest Loser, motivating contestants and viewers alike. She has also appeared in the Australian version of the show. Jillian serves as a celebrity advisor to National Day of Dance for Heart Health, which uses dance as a means of exercise for a healthier heart. She hosts a talk show on Sunday mornings on KFI AM 640.

Jillian Michaels enjoys travelling and lives in Los Angeles.
